Thing #7

I thought those of you who've never met my husband might like to see that he does, in fact, exist! This is part of a group shot taken in March 2006 as we prepared to depart Highlands for a trip to Gautier, Mississippi. Our mission was to help rebuild homes for people who had been displaced by Hurricane Katrina.

This was my first experiment after exploring Flikr and deciding NOT to sign up for yet another email account. I used Blogger's photo upload tool, which works easily (for me, that's a must). I'm still playing with adding photos--so watch this space!

Things #1-12

Well, I finally had to make my own list of things, since I can't seem to keep up with what I'm supposed to be doing and what I've already done. So far, I'm floundering somewhere in the middle of thing #5, having signed up with Bloglines and added three of our FRL blogsites to my subscription list, along with a couple of other sites I think will be interesting.

So, I guess, after looking at my list and Sarah's instructions, I have actually completed all things through thing #6 ! This is fairly slow going, since all this is unfamiliar territory, and I keep having to do "real" work (wait on patrons, answer the phone, etc.) in the middle of other things.

AND my brain gets overloaded easily, so I have to just quit for a while and do something more familiar!
